Mission Statement

The Health Care Assistance Program will provide a professional clerical assistance to medically indigent patients, who are residents Taos County and applying for indigent assistance with their eligible medical billing.

New Mexico has changed the laws pertaining to the Indigent Fund and we are currently working on revising the policies and we expect this to be updated soon.
