Rural Addressing

Rural Addressing Applications

Items which will help your rural addressing application be processed quickly and smoothly:

   1. Name of property owner on most current recorded warranty deed.

   2. Owner Number or Property Code (UPC). These may be found on a current tax bill / notice of value, or by contacting the Taos County Assessor's Office at 575-737-6360.

   3. Brief summary describing the intent for the rural addressing application. For example; new home construction, placement of a manufactured home, USPS mail box, NM MVD, etc.

New addresses will require a completed rural addressing application, a floodplain/wetlands determination form, and a site plan.
