Kit Carson Internet has Installed 18 Public Wi-Fi Hotspots in Their Service Territory Including Taos and Picuris Pueblos.
Taos, NM - Kit Carson Internet (KCI) is committed to our residents, students, seniors and public during this pandemic COVID-19. As a service to our community, KCI is activating free wi-fi to locations listed below to serve those in need of internet access. KCI encourages social distancing, according to the recommendations from the Governor and we will continue to update the public. KCI understands the difficult times families, businesses and individuals are facing during the spread of COVID-19, we are doing everything in our power, to offer services that our communities need get through these hard times.
During the initial beginning of COVID-19 pandemic, KCI installed fourteen Wi-Fi hotspots in their service territory for the public to utilize. KCI has installed a total of 18 free Wi-Fi hotspots that encompass all of KCI’s territory. Four new installations have been been placed within Taos and Picuris Pueblo’s. KCI is dedicated to serving all of our communities and leaving no one without the ability to receive Wi-Fi internet access.

KCEC will continue to analyze and adjust according to needs of the Enchanted Circle. KCEC is partnering with three counties, six municipalites, two pueblos and five school districts to help with the essential services and aid.
