[ARCHIVED] TOSS NO MAS - Can the Trash

Toss No Mas is a long-running public awareness campaign to help reduce littering in the state of New Mexico. The brand is a quintessentially New Mexican
sentiment; it’s a mix of Spanish and English, a knowing nod to the cultural
diversity of the community. It is highly recognizable and highly memorable. This new rendition of the classic campaign brings littering back to the front of mind of New Mexicans. Its goal is to encourage good stewardship among the general population reminding them to “Can It.” It also targets drivers who have not properly tied down the loads on their vehicles, an all-too-common problem in our state. Through a multi-channel marketing strategy, Toss No Mas will reach a large audience creating a strong impression. New Mexico is full of natural beauty, and we see how littering desecrates the landscape, especially along our highways. It also costs our state up to $3.5 million a year. Think of what else we could do with all that money. It’s time to can the trash.
