Assessor
The County Assessor and their staff are responsible for locating and identifying any taxable properties located within Taos County and determine the taxable value of each property in accordance with the laws set forth by The State of New Mexico regarding property valuations and tax assessments. It is our goal at the Taos County Assessor's office to be accessible to the public and to hold ourselves accountable.

Probate Court
The Taos County Probate Court is a lower-level Court created by the New Mexico Constitution and State Law serving the residents and property owners of Taos County.

Treasurer
The Treasurer’s Office is the property tax collector for the County of Taos, Municipalities, School Districts, Special Districts and the State of New Mexico; and acts as a Fiscal Agent for other agencies within Taos County. The Treasurer is an essential part of County Government, we are the "banker" for Taos County.
